On the morning of September 2, the Science and Technology Award Meeting of Jiangxi Province was held to commend units and individuals that haD won the awards. Liu Qi, the Secretary of Party Committee of Jiangxi Province, Yi Lianhong, the Governor of Jiangxi Province, and other leaders presented the awards to the representatives.

    GMU achieved a great success in this event, which 8 scientific and technological achievements won the Science and Technology Award of Jiangxi Province in 2019, including 2 second prizes of Natural Science Award, 1 second prize of Scientific Progress Award and 5 third prizes of Natural Science Award.

    In recent years, GMU has been vigorously implementing the innovation-driven strategy, closely following the development needs, giving full play to the stimulating and guiding function of science and technological rewards, encouraging the transformation of the scientific and technological achievements, and encouraging the collaborative innovation of production-university-research, which has effectively promoted the transformation and upgrading of local economy and laid a solid foundation for the development of medical university with people’s satisfaction.
    It is reported that 148 projects of Science and Technology Award of Jiangxi Province in 2019 were awarded, including 50 Natural Science Awards, 8 Technological Invention Awards, and 90 Scientific Progress Awards.
