At 10 a.m., September 8, the National Commendation Conference on COVID-19 was held in the Great Hall of People in Beijing. President Xi Jinping conferred the recipients of National Medals and Titles of National Honor and made an important speech. The teachers and students of GMU watch the conference through broadcast, TV and Internet.
    Teachers and students said that the fight against the pandemic had achieved great success under the leadership of CPC. The students said that they will learn professional knowledge, master clinical skills, and contribute their own strength to the Healthy China Strategy.

    Peng Lei, the Secretary of the Communist Youth League Committee, said that after watching the conference, GMU will lead all the members of the Communist Youth League to become talents with virtues and skills and contribute to the China Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

    Lai Zhangmin, a counselor of SBMS, said that she will tell stories about the fight against the pandemic, carry forward the spirit of fighting against the pandemic and live up to her mission.
    Wan Hao, a student of Batch 2018 majoring in clinical medicine sciences, said that after watching the conference, he was deeply moved and he will learn from the anti-pandemic heroes and try his best to serve each patient.

    Deng Yuting, a student of Batch 2017 majoring in law, said that she will firm her faith and contribute to the medical career of China.
    Liu Xinyi, a student of Batch 2017 majoring in law, said that as a student CPC member, she will continuously improve her professional qualities and shoulder the responsibility of national rejuvenation.
