On the afternoon of July 1, GMU held the Meeting on the Joint Training of Doctors with Suzhou University (SU) in the Conference Room 401 of the Administration Building in the Huangjin Campus. Professor Xiong Sidong, the SU President, and his delegation were invited to attend the meeting. Liu Qian, Ye Junming, Zhang Xiaokang, the relevant departments, the doctoral supervisor of SU employed by GMU and the doctoral candidates at the SU, attended the meeting. 
    The doctoral candidates reported their thoughts, studies and lives at SU. They all said that they will never forget the learning atmosphere and the learning time in the beautiful campus.
    Xiong Sidong said he was moved by GMU’s emphasis on the doctoral training. He hoped medical students to do a good job in learning, researching and working. On behalf of GMU and SU, the 19 doctoral candidates should maintain the spirits and cultural heritages of the two universities, make more friends and conduct academic researches actively.
    Liu Qian hoped that the 19 doctoral candidates will take the key steps in their lives with gratitude. They should clearly know their responsibilities, actively learn, insist on studying and successfully accomplish studies.
