On April 28, Professor Chen Xinchun, a distinguished GMU alumni, the winner of the National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars, the deputy director of the Department of Medicine Sciences of Shenzhen University (SU) and Dean of the School of Basic Medicine Sciences of SU, visited GMU and gave academic lectures. GMU Vice-President Peng Weijie presided over the meeting.
Professor Chen Xinchun gave a lecture on "Topic Selection and Writing of the National Natural Fund Projects for the Education of Medicine" and “Immuno-diagnosis of Tuberculosis in China". Based on his personal application experience, Chen Xinchun shared the writing points of each part of the application form and the ideas of eva luation experts, and shared the scientific research achievements in the research of tuberculosis immune pathogenesis and tuberculosis molecular markers in combination with his own research experience. And he carried on the thorough exchange with the related scientific research backbones of GMU, enjoying very warm atmosphere.
At last, Peng expressed his sincere thanks to Chen Xinchun for his guidance and exchange, put forward the content of cooperation between the two sides and required all relevant departments to implement it seriously.
