On the afternoon of March 15, the Information Technology and Network Management Center of GMU held a training on network security in the Huangjin  Campus. Liao Zhiping, a member of the Party Committee of GMU, attended the training. More than 40 webmaster from the Network and Data Service Department of the Information Technology and Network Management Center of GMU and all departments/schools attended the training.                                             

Liao Zhiping pointed out that deepening the study, promotion, and implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China is the primary political task currently and in the future. It is necessary to fully understand the situation of network security and data security, and continuously enhance the ability to maintain network security and data security.

Liao Zhiping stressed the need to address the shortcomings of network security work, update knowledge, improve management and technical level, and ensure stable and orderly network security.

After the opening ceremony, Zhang Jie, a security technology expert from Jiangxi Haibo Information Technology Co., Ltd., gave a lecture on "Network Security Awareness" and how to prevent the hazards caused by recent network security incidents such as data leakage and webpage tampering from the perspective of the technology and management.
