The 8th Cancer World Conference (CWC) was held in Croatia last month, bringing together cancer research scientists from over 60 countries to explore the latest advances in cancer research worldwide.

Dr. Zeng Xiangtai, Vice President of the Overseas Chinese Alumni Association in Ganzhou, was invited to give a special report on "FEN1 Inhibitor SC13 in Combination with Doxorubicin for the Treatment of Anaplastic Thyroid Carcinoma" during the conference, sharing the research progress of the research team in the discovery of new targets for thyroid tumors, which has received enthusiastic attention from scholars from many European and American countries.
It is reported that the conference lasted for 3 days, and more than 80 professors and researchers from around the world gave academic reports on their research progress. And they engaged in lively discussions on the current hot-spots and difficulties in tumor prevention and treatment worldwide.

In addition, during the conference, Dr. Zeng Xiangtai had in-depth exchanges and discussions with colleagues from many world-renowned universities in Germany, Poland, Argentina, and the United States, introducing the relevant progress of basic research and clinical work on thyroid tumors in China, and establishing deep friendships with international peers.

Dr. Zeng Xiangtai introduced that two Chinese professors were invited to give keynote speeches for this conference. “As a speaker at the conference, through this exchange, I have not only met many world-renowned research peers, expanded the team's academic communication channels, but also learned the latest cutting-edge international knowledge”, he said.
It is reported that the CWC is an academic institution spontaneously organized by cancer researchers from more than 100 countries around the world.
