From December 7 to 8, GMU organized 10 graduates to attend the Second National Graduate Forum on Life and Health at the Lihu Campus of Shenzhen University. This forum brings together numerous experts, scholars, and young talents in the field of life and health, providing a high-level academic exchange platform for participants and effectively promoting the sharing of cutting-edge knowledge and academic innovation in the field of life and health.
In this forum, Huang Haina, a Batch 2022 graduate majoring in Medical Technology from the School of Rehabilitation (SR) of GMU, outstandingly gave a report "The Effect of Dimension Conversion on Mesenchymal Stem Cell Induced Differentiation into Liver like Cell Balls for Repairing Mouse Liver Injury Model" on site, and won the "Outstanding Spoken Report Award". Huang Haina elaborated on her innovative discoveries and research results in the field of stem cell research in her report, detailing the impact of cultivation dimension transformation on the induction and differentiation process of mesenchymal stem cells and its application in a mouse liver injury repair model. Her rigorous research approach, solid experimental data, and excellent presentation won high recognition and attention from experts and scholars present, fully demonstrating the profound academic foundation and outstanding innovation ability of GMU graduates in the research field.
Meanwhile, the academic achievements of 9 graduates, including Wu Minyu from the Batch 2022 Public Health majors in the Innovation and Translational Medicine Institute of GMU, were displayed on the poster at the forum. Their poster content covers multiple directions in the field of life and health, including basic medicine, clinical medicine, intelligent medical engineering, innovative drug development, etc. These posters showcase the innovative points and research progress of graduates in their respective research topics in the form of pictures and text, attracting many attendees to exchange ideas.
