On the morning of January 15, the Unveiling Ceremony of the Affiliated Ganzhou Public Health Center of GMU (AGPHCGMU) was held at the Ganzhou Center for Disease Control and Prevention (GCDCP). Zhang Xiaokang, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of GMU, and Zhao Chengming, Director of the Ganzhou Disease Prevention and Control Bureau, attended the ceremony and jointly unveiled the plaque for the AGPHCGMU.

GMU Vice-President Sheng Yaohuan, and Cao Hongmin, secretary of the party branch of GCDCP, delivered speeches respectively. The Unveiling Ceremony was presided over by Wang Xiaomao, director of GCDCP.

Cao Hongmin stated in his speech that he will contribute to the cooperation between GMU and AGPHCGMU, deepen exchanges, and jointly build a comprehensive service platform integrating scientific research, teaching and training with GMU to provide higher standards, more professional and effective scientific and technological services. This will cultivate more outstanding public health professionals for the healthcare industry in Ganzhou and help promote the high-quality development of the healthcare industry.

Sheng Yaohuan stated that the AGPHCGMU founding marks a new starting point for both parties to work together and achieve win-win cooperation. It will also make new and greater contributions to promoting the construction of a high-quality development demonstration zone in Ganzhou. Sheng expressed the hope that both sides will continue to work together, clarify their goals and positioning, and build the AGPHCGMU into a first-class new type of public health teaching and institution and talent training base in Jiangxi province.

Directors of relevant departments of GMU, as well as leaders concerned of the GCDCP, attended the ceremony.

After the ceremony, Zhang Xiaokang and his delegation went to visit the GCDCP to actively promote GMU's graduates.
