Jiangxi Province Red Cross Rescue Teacher Training Class is Held in GMU

On July 13, the "Jiangxi Province Red Cross Rescue Teacher Training Class" jointly organized by the School of General Medicine (SGM) and the Jiangxi Province Red Cross is held in Zhanggong Campus of GMU. A total of 35 trainees from the SGM, School of Nursing, and School of the First Clinical Medicine Sciences participated.

During the opening ceremony, the SGM associate dean Liu Qingquan extended a warm welcome to the teachers of Jiangxi Province Red Cross. Liu Qingquan said that professionals in the field of emergency rescue were invited to give lectures for this training so as to share cutting-edge concepts and practical pre-hospital first aid skills. And he expressed the hope that every participant should cherish this opportunity, actively participate, think proactively, and strive to boost their professional quality through this training, making greater contributions to the emergency rescue undertakings.

Subsequently, Chen Tianfa, the Deputy Director of the Jiangxi Province Red Cross Emergency Rescue Training Center, and Zhang Qiong, a SGM teacher, respectively delivered a speech on behalf of the faculty and trainees.

It is understood that this training session lasts for six days, during which several experienced teachers from the Jiangxi Province Red Cross will give specialized lectures on how to enhance the emergency rescue capabilities of the faculty and students, and support the national demonstration schools for emergency education.
