September 29 is the World Heart Day. GMU held the First Aid Skills Competition for Batch 2024 students at the Huangjin Campus. Wang Jianfa, the Director of the Student Affairs Division, delivered a speech on the spot. More than 300 people, including the School of General Medicine (SGM) faculty, emergency skills instructors, and contestants participated. SGM associate dean Liu Qingquan presided over the opening ceremony.

After intense competition, 21 "First Aid Skills Winners" and 30 "Most Beautiful First Aid Instructors" were finally selected.
