Recently, our university and the University of Dschang in cooperation with the University of Dschang in Cameroon officially launched the enrollment of the joint master's degree training program of "Pharmacy" and "Microbiology and Parasite Science". This is the first joint master's project of our university to study in China for education. This project is a substantial measure jointly promoted by the two schools to meet public health challenges and deepen cooperation in education between China and Africa.

The first session of the project plans to recruit 6 joint master's students with a three-year academic system and adopt an innovative "1+2" segmented training model. In the first year, the students will study in the School of Medicine and Pharmacy of Jiangzhen University in Cameroon, and then enter the School of Pharmacy of South Jiangxi Medical University for experimental research and scientific research training in the next two years. The joint culture project closely focuses on the major health needs of African countries, focuses on the prevention and control of diseases such as malaria, worm disease and bacterial infection, and focuses on the discovery and excavation of active ingredients in traditional medical resources in Asia and Africa, laying the foundation for the development of effective and safe new natural prevention and control drugs. The project brings together the superior teachers of both universities and set up a joint tutor team to jointly guide students to complete their studies.

The launch of this joint training project marks a new step for our school in international school running and scientific research cooperation. Through this project, our school takes the initiative to contribute to the development of health care in the African region and academic exchanges between China and Africa.
